THE SETTING
Hotel Astoria was built in 1860 by Marquises Serra, a noble Genoa family. The building intended to meet the necessities of the new developing bourgeois classes, combining the sober austerity of the neo-classical style with the floral ornaments of the Liberty style. The Hotel, thanks to recent redecorations, offers the Guests modern services and comforts still keeping original and historical characteristics, with ancient equipments and ceilings decorated with frescos, typical of old times atmosphere.
